Tigers diamond squads earn high seeds
Coming off a near perfect 14-1 regular season, the Lyndonville High softball team has earned the No. 1 seed for the upcoming Section V Class C2 tournament.
The Lady Tigers will host No. 16 Red Creek in the opening round at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The victor will then face the winner of Tuesday’s No. 9 Kendall at No. 8 Byron-Bergen game in the quarterfinals later in the week.
The Lyndonville baseball team, which posted an 11-3 regular season record, has earned the No. 2 seed for the Class C2 playoffs.
The Tigers will host No. 15 Geneseo at 5 p.m. Monday.
The victor will then face the winner of Monday’s No. 10 Marion vs. No. 7 HAC game in the quarterfinals on Wednesday.
In Class B2, No. 10 Holley-Kendall will visit No. 7 Mynderse at 5 p.m. Monday.
The Holley softball squad, which is seeded No. 14 in Class C1, will visit No. 3 Red Creek at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
