Tigers best Lancers in G-R diamond contest
Pulling away in the late innings, Lyndonville defeated Elba 16-3 this afternoon to improve to 4-1 in Genesee Region League baseball competition.
The Tigers scored 5 runs in the sixth inning and 6 more in the seventh to lock up the win.
Winning pitcher Nathan Dillenbeck had three hits, inuding a two-run home run, Jack Whipple 4 hits with 5 RBIs, Alex Barry 3 hits and Casey Winiecki and Rolland Balcerzak 2 hits each.
On the mound, Dillenbeck gave up 5 hits and struck out 3.
