Tigers and Eagles suffer diamond losses
Breaking away from a 4-4 deadlock, Notre Dame scored 5 runs in the sixth inning and 3 more in the seventh to down host Lyndonville 12-4 in a Genesee Region League baseball game this afternoon.
Lyndonville took a 3-0 lead in the second inning on RBI singles by Lane Woodworth and Landon Markidis and a wild pitch.
The Tigers tied the game at 4-4 in the fourth on a sacrifice fly by Shannon Withey.
However, the final 8 runs and the win went to Notre Dame..
Livonia 2, Kendall 1
Avenging an earlier season 4-3 loss in 8 innings, Livonia nipped host Kendal l2-1 in a non league game this afternoon.
Livonia’s two runs came in the first inning on a single by Brady O’Keefe and a wild pitch.
Kendall’s run came in the sixth inning on a single by Jonas Rhodes.
The Eagles are now 7-1 on the season.
