Tiger wrestlers win non league opener
Lyndonville opened its wrestling season with a 47-24 non league win over host Pavilion/York this evening.
Michael Alexander, Brody Hazel and Ben Doolan all scored pins for the Tigers as Brayden Frasier and Ty Holmes had technical fall wins.
The Tigers will next host the Fred Large Memorial Tournament on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.

Akron downed Albion 48-24 and Wilson edged Roy-Hart/Barker 38-35 in Niagara-Orleans League matches.
Justin Mengs and Corbin Piccirilli had pins for Albion.
Roy-Hart/Barker got pins by Anthony Adams, Joey Jopp and Remington Marohn and a technical fall win by Luke Fay.
