Tiger track teams prep for G-R opener

The Lyndonville track teams are prepping for an early Genesee Region League opener at Kendall on Wednesday.

Led by veterans Connor Bell (Distance) , Ethan Creig (Middle Distance), Evan Horn (Sprints, Jumps), Jon Schroth Distance, Throws), Jon Slingerland (Distance) and Trey Vercruysse Sprints, Jumps), the Tigers 11 member boys squad also includes Feliz Isaacson (Middle Distance) , Deante Johnson (Sprints), Noah Neff (Sprints, Jumps), Sean Rayburn (Sprints, Throws) and Josh Slingerland (Middle Distance, Jumps).

Jon Slingerland placed third in the 1600 and Horn fifth in the 100 at last year’s G-R All-League meet.

Led by veterans Erin Kiefer (Sprints, Throws) and Reese Raduns (Sprints, Jumps), the Lady Tigers 10 member team also includes Summer Borck (Distance), Aasiya Huzair (Throws), Jenna Kidney (Sprints, Throws), Amber Kiefer (Sprints, Jumps), Aniya Pitchard (Sprints, Hurdles), Karlee Rounds (Sprints, Hurdles), Adia Wachob (Sprints) and Alyssa Winder (Throws).

April: 3 – at Kendall, 10 – at Holley.
May: 1 – at Pembroke, 8 – at Attica, 13 – at Alexander.
