LYNDONVILLE – A year ago with only one returning starter in the lineup an inexperienced, underclassmen dominated Lyndonville boys basketball team struggled through the learning pains of a winless campaign.

However, now with six regulars back to anchor the lineup, the Tigers are taking aim at a rebound season.

Seniors Justin Edwards, Evan Millesville and Patrick Hinkson along with juniors Phil Gresham, Ty Hrovat and Brandon Schoolcraft provide the Tigers with plenty of veteran experience.

“It’s nice to have that kind of experience back,” said second year Tigers coach and Lyndonville grad Brian Lang. “We’re small but we want to be aggressive on defense and push the ball and run on offense.”

Lyndonville is scheduled to open the Genesee Region League season at home on Dec. 4 against Attica. The Tigers season will also be highlighted by participation in the Holley Tournament on Jan. 3 and 4.
