19-0 Thunderwolves score weekend sweep
The Niagara County Community College women’s basketball team scored a weekend sweep defeating Herkimer College 86-55 on Saturday and Fulton-Montgomery Community College 79-57 today to stay undefeated at 19-0 on the season.
Leading the way in the win over Herkimer were Kenetria Redfern (Cheektowaga) with 23 points, 6 rebounds, 5 steals; Aubrey Halloran 18 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals; Shilah Parker (Cardinal O’Hara) 15 points, 5 assists, 4 steals, 3 blocks; Cori Dickson (Cardinal O’Hara) 13 points, 9 assists and Caitlynn Snook (Albion ) 7 points, 4 rebounds.
Setting the pace against Fulton-Montgomery were Redfern with 21 points, 7 rebounds; Parker 16 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals; Paige Emborsky (Newfane) 16 points, 5 assists and Snook 8 points, 3 rebounds.
