Thunderstorms likely this afternoon; highs in 70s this week

Orleans County will see highs in the 70s most of this week, according to the National Weather Service in Buffalo.
Today is forecast for a high of 78 with showers and thunderstorms likely after 11 a.m.
The Weather Service also says there is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms Monday with damaging winds being the primary threat.
Most of Monday will be partly sunny with a high near 79. That will be followed by a sunny Tuesday with a high near 77.
Wednesday will be sunny with a high near 78, followed by a mostly sunny Thursday with a high near 77. Friday is forecast for mostly sunny with a high near 81.
