Three setters highlight Mustangs tennis win
A pair of three set wins highlighted Medina’s 5 1/2-0 victory over visiting Wilson this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League tennis match.
Ray Paull rallied past Joey Moote 2-6, 7-5, 7-5 at first singles and Haylee Seefeldt outlasted Nate Jacquess 6-3, 5-7, 6-2 at second singles.
The Mustangs also got straight set wins by Kody Leno at third singles and by the doubles teams of Andrew Houseman-Jonathan Pietrafesa, Isaac Pace-Ben Zakes and Alex Hetrick-Owen Herman.
Medina improves to 8-3 and Wilson slips to 6-5.
In another N-O match, Newfane (3-8) downed Albion (3-8) 4 1/2-1.
Matt Kovaleski earned Albion’s lone point at first singles.
