Third period proves costly for Tigers, Eagles

Breaking away from a 20-20 halftime deadlock, Pembroke used a 21-14 third period scoring edge to key a 55-42 victory over host Lyndonville this evening in a Genesee Regon League game.

Zach VonKramer scored 10 of his 14 points to lead that key surge for the Dragons.

Zach Johnson scored 15 and Eric Neace 11 on the evening for Lyndonville as Corey Hydock and Jacob Hoffee both added 8.

Oakfield-Alabama likewise used a big 20-5 third period scoring edge to erase a 27-26 halftime deficit and key a 62-47 win over Kendall.

Reice Woodward scored 12 of his game high 26 points to lead that key uprising by the Hornets.

Brandon Miller scored 14, John Rath 11 and Ben Frasch 8 for Kendall. Miller also grabbed off 13 rebounds while had 5 rebounds and 3 assists.

In another G-R contest, Elba bested Holley 85-39 as Tucker Bezon scored 10 of his game high 20 points in the opening period to spark the Lancers out to a 27-16 lead.

Dylan Hillabush scored 12 and Andrew Moseman 8 for Holley as Derek McArthur added 5 rebounds and 5 assists.
