The Lyndonville girls varsity basketball team will be dominated by underclassmen this season as the Lady Tigers lineup includes only two seniors.

Savannah Poler and Danielle Weldon are the only seniors on the Lady Tigers squad which also returns experience in juniors Kaylee Nebitt and Prezli Silversmith, sophomore Karlee Rounds, and freshmen Ella Lewis and Lorelei Dillenbeck. Another returnee, sophomore Gracie Johnson, is out with an injury.

“It’s a very, very young group,” said Coach Kate Draper. “We’re looking to work hard, improve on last year and keep progressing in a forward direction.”

The Lady Tigers graduation losses included Alecia Hinkson, Anna Lewis, Stacey Buckland, Grace Hayes and Paige McDonald. Hinkson led the team in scoring with 220 points and rebounds with 160 and Lewis scored 144 points and a team leading 51 steals.
