Targus helps Cazenovia retain swim title

Barker High graduate Brooke Targus helped the Cazenovia College women’s swim team capture a fourth straight Northeastern Athletic Conference championship this past weekend.
Targus was a member of three record setting winning relays. Her 400 and 800 Medley Relay teams both set new league records with times of 4:20.80 and 8:25.08 respectively. In addition, her 200 Medley Relay quartet set a new school record time of 1:59.48.
In the individual events, Targus placed third in the 200 Individual Medley (2:27.68) and fourth in the 100 Butterfly (1:07.770.
A senior Criminal Justice/Psychology major, Targus also plays softball for Cazenovia.
