Tapestry cagers hand Medina first loss

Steadily pulling away, Tapestry handed visiting Medina its first loss of the young season by a margin of 69-52 this evening in a non league boys basketball game.

Up by 10, 19-9, at the end of the first period, Tapestry extended its advantage to 12, 33-21, at the half and to 15, 48-33, at the three-quarter mark.

Nate Sherman scored 13, Jarin Rhim 11 and Izaiah Rhim 10 for Medina which is now 3-1.

The Mustangs next open defense of their Niagara-Orleans League title at Barker on Friday.
