T-Wolves rally in second half for fifth win
Rebounding from a 37-34 half-time deficit, the Niagara County Community College women’s basketball team rallied to defeat Onondaga Community College 86-65 Wednesday to improve to 5-0 on the young season.
The T-Wolves outscored Onondaga 27-18 in the third period to take charge and then 25-10 in the final stanza to lock up the victory.
Paige Emborsky (Newfane) spearheaded the T-Wolves rally scoring 5 of her 6 three’s in the second half. She finished with 23 points and 6 rebounds.
Kenetria Redfern led NCCC with 24 points and 7 rebounds.
NCCC next hosts Howard Community College from Maryland at 1 p.m. Saturday.
