Szczepanski to play football at Valparaiso

Realizing a lifelong dream of playing Division 1 college football, Kendall native and Notre Dame High, Batavia, senior Keith Szczepanski today signed a Letter of Intent to play football at Valparaiso University in Indiana.

Szczepanski, an Eagle Scout and an A student in the classroom, will major in Political Science

A 6-7 lineman who earned All-State football honors both as a junior (first team) and a senior (second team), he helped lead Notre Dame to a 11-1 record and the Section V Class D championship this past fall.

A three sport athlete, Szczepanski is also a regular on the Notre Dame basketball squad where he is averaging 9.8 points and 7.8 rebounds and last spring in track he won the Section V Class D discus title and placed second in the shot-put.
