Suspect in custody for homicide of Lyndonville woman
BROCKPORT – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and Brockport Police Department have announced a female suspect is in custody in conjunction with the Brockport homicide on Friday.
Law enforcement hasn’t released any additional information on the suspect.
Brockport police and Monroe County investigators having been looking for a suspect in the death of a Lyndonville woman, who was killed by a single gunshot wound to the head.
Megan Dix, 33, was found on Friday at about 8 p.m. in a small parking lot on South Avenue, where she liked to take lunch breaks from her job as an assistant manager at the Lowe’s in Brockport. She was discovered in a dark-colored pickup she had driven.
She and her husband Chris have an 8-year-old son, CJ.
