ALBION – Supportive Care of Orleans/Hospice has issued an invitation to the community for a meet and greet at the Hoag Library from 6 to 7:30 p.m. May 25.

“This is an opportunity for our neighbors to not only come to us with questions they may be having about the hospice process, but to meet the staff who would be caring for their loved ones through this journey,” said Julie Kumiega, CEO of Supportive Care of Orleans County.

Kumiega will be joined by Supportive Care’s medical director, Dr. William Wnuk, and with some of the Supportive Care of Orleans nursing staff to meet community members and discuss what hospice services they provide.

“We just want to remind everyone that we are here for you, for your loved ones and for the community,” Kumiega said. “I look forward to meeting everyone on the 25th.”

Community members will receive information on what to do it they or a loved one need hospice care, advanced care directives or MOLST forms, and hear about ways hospice has touched the life of many throughout the community.
