HOLLEY – Everyone in the community, including those not served by Supportive Care of Orleans/Hospice are invited to attend the fourth annual memory walk at Holley Falls on Oct. 8.

The memory walk is open to the newly bereaved, as well as those wishing to honor a loved one who has died in the past. The walk will start with a ceremony at 9:30 a.m., followed by refreshments and a leisurely walk to remember, according to Derek Reiner, director of development.

Several levels of participation are available. Those who wish to simply remember a loved one may stroll by themselves or with family and friends.

For a donation of $20, Hospice will place a sign featuring a picture of your loved one and a message along the walking path. For $40, a sign will be placed and the donor will receive a walk T-shirt.

A Walk to Remember Legacy Package costs $125 and will include the above named sign, T-shirt and small stone memorial brick permanently placed in Hospice’s Memorial Garden.

Registration to walk is required by e-mailing a registration form to tchmylak@SCOrleans.org or mailing one directly to Supportive Care of Orleans, 14080 Rt. 31 W, Albion. Anyone with questions may call Hospice at (585) 589-0809.
