SUNY Niagara romps in regional semifinal

VanNostrand, who finished with 10 points, including two threes, was one of six Thunderwolves to score in double figures. Faith Alessandra scored 20, Nadara O’Dell 17 and Makayla Thomas 15 to set the pace for the Thunderwolves which held lopsided leads of 41-2 after the first quarter, 71-5 at the half and 100-19 after three quarters. SUNY Niagara will next face the winner of the Monroe Community College vs. Jamestown Community College in the title contest at 1 p.m. Sunday.
