SUNY Brockport students tackle service projects in Albion

ALBION – SUNY Brockport students were at Bullard park today sanding the pavilion and digging out weeds in the playground. They also raked up mulch and filled in sports around the park.
There were about 1,000 Brockport students working on projects around the Rochester region today for the university’s annual Saturday of Service.
Brockport wants to see students build community connections and a strong civic responsibility.
These students are pictured with John Grillo, Albion recreation director for the past 50 years.
Some Brockport students also worked on projects at the First Presbyterian Church of Albion. They helped with some painting and weeding around the church.
