Sunday and Monday will be scorchers

Today’s hot and humid day with a high of 86 will be followed by even more heat on Sunday and Monday, according to the National Weather Service in Buffalo.
Sunday and Monday are both forecast to hit highs of 91.
Apparent temperatures may approach heat advisory criteria of 95 degrees for a few hours both Sunday and Monday afternoons. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity can increase the risk of heat illnesses, especially for sensitive groups, the National Weather Service said.
Tuesday is forecast for a high of 85, followed by 81 on Wednesday, 82 on Thursday and 82 on Friday.
