Strong starts on NCCC diamonds for local trio

A trio of local student-athletes are off to strong starts to the season on the Niagara County Community College diamond squads.
Medina High graduate Zach Fike has posted a 2-0 record on the mound with 10 strikeouts and no earned runs in 9.2 innings of work for the NCCC baseball team which is off to a 11-1 start.
Roy-Hart grad Shelby Wolfe and Barker grad Sydnie Luckman, both sophomore infielders, are both batting well over .300 for the NCCC softball squad.
Wolf is hitting .386 with 8 doubles, 1 home run and 18 runs batted in. Luckman is hitting .389 with 6 RBI.
