Strong start for Mustang harriers

Contributed Photo – This Medina High trio of Aiden Cayea, Jack Hill and Dan Heil earned second place honors in the season opening Dash in the Dark on Friday evening at Oakfield-Alabama. They also each earned medals for having top 10 times in the 2 mile split in the small school division. Heil was 3rd, Hill 7th and Cayea 8th. The Medina girls Blue Division 2 runners consisting of Cora Payne, Rebecca Lunden and Kaitlin Washbon earned 3rd place. The Medina Cross Country next competes at Beaver Island State Park next Saturday.
