Storm’s bats are hot in win over Attica

The Albion Storm knocked out some long balls Thursday evening in an 18-10 win at Attica.
Melia Prince went 2-2 with a double and the biggest, longest hit of the season- grand slam home run. Anna Gillette also went 2-2 with a double and Teagan Shaw was also 2-2 on the night. Storm knocked out 12 hits all together with Meadow Smith, Kate Viza, Brooke Miller, Gia Howard, Leah Zastrow, and Alayna Keirn collecting singles.
The defense was mixed up with the younger players getting extra time in the field and they played vey well. Leah Zastrow started on the rubber and went 3 innings collecting 5 strikeouts and her defense allowed zero hits. Zastrow took two line drives right back at her for outs as well. Teagan Shaw pitched the last two innings and collected 4 strikeouts with only two hits allowed.
Storm travels to Akron next Thursday.
