Stormy weather has caused play to be suspended late in today’s second round of the Amundi Evian Championship at Evian-Les-Bains, France in which Medina’s Melanie Green is competing as one of 8 amateurs in the 132 player field.

When play was suspended Green was 3 over par for the day after 14 holes after shooting a 2 under par 69 in Thursday’s opening round. She had 6 bogies and 3 birdies over the first 14 holes.

Currently 1 over for the tournament Green is 1 shot over the projected cutline of even par.

The field will be cut when the second round is completed Saturday morning. Green needs to pick up at least one shot over the final four holes to make the cut.
