Starpoint stickmen surge past Medina

Breaking away from a 3-3 half-time deadlock, Starpoint scored 5 unanswered goals in the second half to earn an 8-3 win over Medina in an interdivisional lacrosse game at Vets Park this afternoon.
Third period goals by Mark DeFilippo and Vincent Kankolencki put Starpoint back on top to stay. The Spartans tacked on three more goals in the final period to lock up the win.
Will Prest, Kole Campbell and Cole Callard took turns scoring goals in the first half for Medina.
Medina finishes the regular season at 7-9 while Starpoint is now 8-7.
