Roy-Hart will pay a very  special tribute this evening to former longtime Rams football Coach Bruno Pacini who has passed away at the age of 101.

The lights of the Rams football stadium, which bears his name (“Bruno Pacini Field”), will be turned on from 7 to 10:30 in his honor.

“Thank you for being a Great Man,” said Roy-Hart Athletic Director John Gryzmala in paying  tribute to Pacini. “You influenced so many student-athletes  and our community! You will be missed. A Proud Ram! Our Forever Ram”

Pacini served the Roy-Hart district as a Social Studies teacher and head football coach for 28 years from 1950-78.

His football teams won seven Niagara-Orleans League championships during the 1953, 1954, 1957, 2967, 1969, 1971 and 1976 seasons.

In 2016 Pacini was honored by the school as he was one of the first honorees to be named to the Rams Wall of Fame.
