With many stores and even fast-food restaurants closed, the parents of the RoyHart/ Barker/Medina/Akron Club hockey team slogged their way to Cheektowaga Saturday night for a game against St. Mary’s of Lancaster. When it was over, RBM had suffered a 3-2 loss.

Dominic Peracciny (R-H) opened the scoring for RBM halfway through the opening period with an assist from Dylan Krzykowski (Akron).  Before the period was over, however, St. Mary’s had evened the score.

There was no scoring in the next period.

Early in the final period, St. Mary’s took the lead and added the game- winner before Krzykowski ended the scoring assisted by Michael Kuchey (R-H).

Now 4-7-1, RBM  next travels Tuesday evening for their second game at East Aurora’s outdoor rink, beginning at 8:40 p.m.
