The Marauders of St. Joe’s came to Lockport Friday evening as the second place team in the league and left a 7-4 winner over the Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina/Akron Club hockey team.

The game, however, was much tighter than the final score indicates.

The visitors opened the scoring in the first two minutes, but RBM quickly tied the game on a goal by Michael Kuchey (R-H) assisted by Dominic Peracciny (R-H) and Dylan Krzykowski (Akron).  St. Joe’s finished the period with a 2-1 lead.

At the very beginning of the next period, Jason Kuchey (R-H) evened the score with a goal on an assist from Peracciny., Just twenty seconds later, the roles were reversed with Peracciny scoring and Jason Kuchey assisting for a 3-2 lead.  However, St. Joe’s tied the score heading into the last period.

Halfway through the last period, St. Joe’s took the lead for good at 4-3, before scoring two more goals.  Finally, Krzykowski scored unassisted to end the scoring for RBM.  St. Joe’s finished the game with an empty- net goal.

RBM continues a killer weekend when the first place and undefeated Orchard Park team visits Lockport this evening for an 8:10 game.
