Spring teams earn Scholar-Athlete Awards
Some 30 local high school varsity spring sports squads have earned New York State Public High School Athletic Association Scholar/Athlete Team awards by compiling a composite average of at least 90.

Albion – Baseball Softball, Tennis and Girls Track
Barker – Baseball, Softball, Tennis, Boys Track and Girls Track
Holley – Softball, Tennis, Girls Track and Golf
Kendall – Baseball, Softball, Tennis, Boys Track and Girls Track
Lyndonville – Baseball, Softball, Boys Track and Girls Track
Medina – Baseball, Tennis, Boys Track and Girls Track
Roy-Hart – Baseball, Softball, Tennis, Boys Track and Girls Track
Rounding out the Niagara-Orleans League schools Akron had Baseball, Softball, Tennis, Boys Track and Girls Track; Newfane has Softball, Tennis, Girls Track and Girls Lacrosse and Wilson has Baseball, Softball, Tennis, Boys Track, Girls Track and Boys Lacrosse.
