Spring sports practice gets underway
Photos by Cheryl Wertman – Spring sports practice got underway this afternoon for area high school baseball, softball, lacrosse, track and tennis teams. Here members of the Medina lacrosse squad go through a drill. The Mustangs will get the season going next week with games at Lockport on March 23 and at home against Salamanca on March 24. The Niagara-Orleans baseball, softball, tennis and track squads will open the league season the first week of April.
