Spotlighting Orleans senior athletes

Photos by Cheryl Wertman – The HUB’s week long series spotlighting some of Orleans senior athletes today includes, from left, Liam Ward (Albion), Olivia Carter (Medina) and Savannah Poler (Lyndonville). Ward has been a four year catcher/pitcher on the Albion varsity baseball team earning first team Niagara-Orleans All-League honors each of the last three years at the key catchers position. He has also been a four year player on the Purple Eagles varsity basketball squad. Carter earned first place honors in the Long Jump at last spring’s N-O All-League track meet. She has also been a multi year starter on the soccer team. Poler has been a three year member of the Lyndonville varsity basketball team and has also competed in track.

Sarah Harrington (Holley) and Mason Kuhn (Kendall). Harrington a four year varsity soccer player earned Genesee Region League All-Star honors last fall. She has also been a multi year player on the Lady Hawks basketball squad. Kuhn, earned G-R All-Star honors in soccer last fall and in baseball last spring. He has also been a multi year starter on the Eagles basketball team.
