South Park tops Medina in non league opener
Jumping out to a 21-2 first quarter lead, South Park went on to defeat visiting Medina 59-21 this evening in a season opening non league boys basketball game.
Jarin Rhim scored 9 points, Greg Thompson 7 and Joe Cecchini 5 for Medina which trailed 33-9 at the half and 45-10 after three quarters.
Rhim also grabbed off 10 rebounds and Cecchini 8 asThompson had 6 steals.
Medina next hosts Central Christian Academy on December 10.
