Some snow showers this week, but highs will be above freezing

The weather forecast shows another week in Orleans County without harsh winter weather. There are some snow showers in the forecast but there will be highs above freezing in the 30s or low 40s this week, according to the National Weather Service in Buffalo.

The forecast today says snow showers before noon, then a slight chance of rain and snow showers after 5 p.m. with a high near 38. The low tonight will be around 29.

The forecast the rest of the week includes a slight chance of snow showers on Tuesday with a high near 34 and overnight low around 30.

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a high near 38 and overnight low of 33. Thursday is forecast to be mostly cloudy with a high near 40 and overnight low of 33.

Friday will have a chance of rain and snow showers before 9 a.m., then a chance of rain showers with a high near 41. The overnight low will be around 29.

Saturday is chance of rain and snow showers with a high near 36 and overnight low of around 26.
