Soccer teams earn Scholar/Athlete awards

BOYS SOCCER – Compiling a composite grade point average of 95.5847 the Medina/Lyndonville boys varsity soccer squad has earned a New York State Public High School Athletic Association Scholar/Athlete Team Award. In front are Oskar Heinsler, Cole Seefeldt, Noah Heinsler, Jonathan Slingerland, Evan Horn, Russell Stephens, Casey Winiecki, Jack Whipple, Nate Dillenbeck, Devon Rounds and Reagan Wilkins. In back are Kody Leno, Andrew Houseman, Ray Paull, Nate Sherman, Caelan Holland, Jonathan Pietrafesa, Brandon Heschke and Zach Fike. Missing from the photo is Tom Vasquez.

GIRLS SOCCER – Members of the Lyndonville/Medina girls varsity soccer squad have compiled a composite grade point average of 93.7964 to earn a NYSPHSAA Scholar/Athlete Team Award. Coach Paul Zeppatella is shown here with team members who include, in front, Marguerite Brakenbury, Brooklyn Brown, Melanie Hibbard, Jarielys Flores Medina, Lily Jo Carpenter and Ella Lewis. In back are Ashlee Howell, Miranda Zelazny, Haylee Seefeldt, Hannah Hamilton, Mikayla Albone, Anna Lewis and Kaylee Nesbitt.
