Soccer sectional playoffs begin on Tuesday
High school sectional soccer playoff competition will get underway on Tuesday with a pair of Section V girls contests.
In Class C1, No. 11 seed Lyndonville/ Barker will visit No. 6 Letchworth at 6 p.m. Letchworth brings a 7-9 regular season record into the playoffs while Lyndonville/Barker is 5-11.
In Class C2, No. 9 Kendall will visit No 8 Caledonia-Mumford at 6 p.m. in a matchup of 10-5-1 teams.
Three boys playoff games are on tap for Wednesday.
In Section V, No. 10 Holley (5-7-2) will face No. 7 Campbell-Savona (9-5-1) at 6 p.m. at Cohocton in a Class C1 game and No. 6 Kendall (7-8-1) will take on No. 11 South Seneca/Romulus (4-10-2) at 6 p.m. at Wheatland-Chili in a Class C2 contest.
In Section VI, No. 9 Albion will visit No. 8 Tapestry in a Class A2 game at 3:30 p.m.
On Thursday in Section VI boys contests No. 4 Roy-Hart will host No. 5 Portville at 3:30 p.m. in Class B2 and No. 3 Medina will host No. 6 Springville at 6:30 p.m. in Class B1.
Also on Thursday in Section VI girls competition, No. 7 Albion will visit No 2 Iroquois in a Class A2 contest at 3:30 p.m.
On Friday in Section VI girls games, No. 8 Medina will visit top seeded East Aurora at 3:30 p.m. in Class B1 and No. 3 Roy-Hart will host No. 6 Salamanca at 6 p.m. in Class B2.
In Section V girls competition on Friday, top seeded Holley will host the winner of the No. 8 Red Creek v. No. 9 East Rochester game in a Class C1 contest at 6 p.m.
