Soccer honor for Kendall senior

Kendall High senior Jake Adams has been named to the second team of the All Greater Rochester boys soccer squad.

Adams, who was named Genesee Region League Player of the Year this past fall, led Kendall in scoring with 30 goals and 7 assists.

A three-time Genesee Region All-Star and a two-time All Greater Rochester honoree, Adams finished his four year varsity career with a total of 67 goals and 24 assists.

Several local players also received Honorable Mention including Kendall’s Joe LoSapio and Holley’s trio of Derek McArthur, Chris Balys and Andrew Cary, all seniors.

The girls soccer All-Greater Rochester team had several local players earn Honorable Mention including Lyndonville seniors Aubrey Lewis and Makenzie Muck, Kendall junior Taylor ReQua and senior Lizzie Rath and Holley junior Madison Papaj.
