Soccer camp fun

Enjoying learning the basics of the game in a fun setting, some 50 youngsters in grades K-6 took part in the annual Medina Soccer Camp this week at Vets Park. Organized by the Medina High boys and girls soccer teams, the camp utilized a variety of games and drills to teach the youngsters the basic skills of soccer including ball control, passing, shooting and goalkeeping. Each of the sessions concluded with a practice game so the youngsters could practice their newly learned skills.
