Snyder earns All-State basketball honors

Kendall High senior Libby Snyder has been named to the seventh team of the Class C All State basketball squad.

Snyder scored 273 points this past season for a 13.0 per game average.

She also had 263 rebounds, 107 blocks, 52 steals and 43 assists.

Wilson senior Bella Lemke earned Honorable Mention.

Lemke has also received Honorable Mention on the All-Western New York team as did Albion senior Abby Scanlan.

Lemke, who helped lead Wilson to the Niagara-Orleans League title, scored a league high 328 points and grabbed off 143 rebounds.

Scanlan, who was named N-O Player of the Year, scored 212 points (10.6 average) and also had 83 steals an 58 rebounds.

The All-State Class B boys squad had Roy-Hart senior Aidan Petrie receive Honorable Mention.

Petrie, who helped lead Roy-Hart to the N-O title, was named the league’s Player of the Year, He scored 335 points (18.6 ave.) and had 161 rebounds, 33 steals and 25 assists.
