This past weekend’s storm, which dropped several inches of wet snow, has caused the postponement of a number of early week high school contests due to poor field conditions.

Postponed today are the Alexander at Barker baseball game, the Barker at CCA and Wilson at Newfane softball games, the Batavia at Medina lacrosse game and the Holley at Attica and Wheatland-Chili at Kendall tennis matches.

The Batavia at Medina lacrosse game has been re-scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday to follow the 4:30 p.m. Batavia at Medina baseball game.

Tuesday’s postponements include the Holley at Barker, Kendall at Alexander and Lyndonville at CG Finney baseball games, the Medina at Batavia, Barker at Elba and Alexander at Kendall softball games.

The Niagara-Orleans League baseball, softball and tennis seasons are all scheduled to get underway on Wednesday but the Barker at Newfane softball game has already been postponed due to field conditions.

Wednesday’s N-O baseball games are scheduled to include Medina at CSAT, Albion at Akron and Barker at Newfane, all at 4:45 p.m. field conditions permitting.
