Snowed Out!
Photo by Cheryl Wertman – Scheduling games in late March and early April is always a challenge for area high school sports teams and the heavy rain and snow over the past two days is a prime example of that. Here Medina’s Vets Park, which was scheduled to host a baseball-lacrosse doubleheader today, is instead blanketed in white. Among the other contests snowed out were baseball games at Albion and Roy-Hart. With much warmer temperatures forecast over the next few days area coaches and players are no doubt hoping to resume competition early next week.
