Snow is lurking in the forecast for Orleans

After a mostly sunny Thursday with a high of 44, snow and rain is expected on Friday before 9 a.m., followed by rain in Orleans County with a high of 42, according to the National Weather Service in Buffalo.

There could be another snow shower overnight Friday. Saturday there is also a chance of snow showers before 11 a.m., and then a chance of rain and more snow showers, the Weather Service said.

Veterans Day on Sunday also has a chance of flurries. It will be partly sunny, with a high near 37 on Sunday.
