Snow could make an appearance today, Wednesday

The area could see some snow showers this morning before 9, with rain and snow showers also likely between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., according to the National Weather Service in Buffalo.
Today is forecast for a high of 37 in Orleans County. It will be blustery tonight with a low of 27 and a chance for 1 to 2 inches of snow, the Weather Service said.
On Wednesday, there is also a chance for snow showers, possibly mixing with rain after noon, then gradually ending. It will be mostly sunny on Wednesday, with a high near 35. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch is possible, the Weather Service said.
The high temperatures then go up the rest of the week with 54 on Thursday, 58 on Friday and 54 on Saturday.
