Small veteran nucleus leads Medina trackmen

A quartet of All-League meet place finishers anchors the lineup for the Medina boys tack squad which begins Niagara-Orleans competition at Barker on April 20.

Junior Jalin Cooper, who won both the 100 and 200 sprints and placed third in the High Jump, heads that group which also includes juniors Dan Heil (1st in 16000 and 3rd in 3200) and Jack Hill (8th in 3200) along with sophomore William Braswell (3rd in Long Jump.

Cooper went on to win both the 100 and 200 at the Section VI championships and to place sixth in the 100 at the state meet.

The Mustangs key veterans also include senior Federico Rosario and junior Connor Miller.
