Small veteran group leads Lady Hawks

A veteran quintet anchors the lineup for the Holley varsity softball squad which is scheduled to begin tuning up for the Genesee Region League season with a non league contest against Barker on Wednesday.
Coach Amy Ostrom’s veteran group includes senior pitcher Tia Hoffarth along with juniors Leigha Walker (catcher/outfield), Hayli Kuellertz (infield), Alyssa Wright (catcher) and Teanna Church (outfield). Hofarth earned G-R all-Star Honorable Mention last season.
The Lady Hawks graduation losses incliuded pitcher Sara Kingdollar, shortstop Adrianna Botello, infielder Grave Mckeon and outfielder Tatum Gagne.
Holley is slated to open the G-R season at home on April 13 against Pembroke.
