Six returning regulars anchor the lineup for the Medina tennis team which begins Niagara-Orleans League competition by hosting Barker on Wednesday and visiting rival Albion on Friday.

The Mustangs veteran contingent includes seniors Ray Paull, Kody Leno, Haylee Seefeldt and Andrew Houseman along with sophomore Mark Barcena and freshman Isaac Pace. Paull earned first team N-O All-League honors last spring.

The Mustangs graduation losses included the singles duo of Andrew Fuller, who earned first team N-O honors and Toby Kiebala who was a second team selection.

“We’ve got a good returning group but with graduation losses some people will have to move up a position,” said Coach Chris Horgan. “The key will be how well they take up that new challenge and playing with consistency.”
