Silverbacks win on last second field goal
A last second field goal earned Roy-Hart/Barker/Lyndonville a thrilling 17-14 victory over host Tonawanda in a C North Division game this evening.
John Konstanty kicked the deciding 22 yard field goal with one second to go to give the Silverbacks the win.
A 26 yard pass completion from Aiden Mescall to Payton Grabowski set up the field goal opportunity. Mescall had 127 yards rushing on the night.
The Silverbacks led 14-0 at the half as Wyatt Sherman had two touchdowns and a two-point conversion.
Tonawanda rallied to tie the game at 14-14 with a touchdown with two minutes to go.
The Silverbacks improve to 2-2 in the division and 3-3 overall as the Warriors slip to 0-4, 1-5.
