Silverbacks begin practice for debut season
Photos by Cheryl Wertman – The fledgling Roy-Hart/Barker/Lyndonville Silverbacks began practice for the belated start of their inaugural 8 man varsity football season this afternoon at Lyndonville. The Silverbacks were slated to debut this past fall but the Covid-19 Pandemic caused all high school football in New York to be postponed until this spring. Here Silverback players go through a stretching exercise as practice got underway.
Here Silverback linemen work on a blocking drill. The Silverbacks are scheduled to open their inaugural season at Holley on March 27. Their home opener will be against Perry on April 2 at Middleport. Click here to check out a video from today’s practice.
