Shoot-out decides Member-Member Tournament at Shelridge
The first major event of the season at Shelridge Country Club was decided in a shoot-out this past weekend as the team of Steve Brooks and Steve Seamans took top honors in the Member-Member Tournament.
The shoot-out involved the winning teams of the tournament’s four divisions including the duos of Dennis Higgins – Tom Pegelow (Augusta Flight), Brett Decker – Bruce Foley (Chambers Bay Flight), John Vekich – Frank Vehich (St. Andrews Flight) and Brooks – Seamans (Whistling Straits Flight).
Brooks and Seamans bested Higgins and Pegelow on the second extra hole to capture the tourney title.
Brooks had made a key 25 foot putt on the first extra hole as did Higgins from 15 feet.
