Medina police officers will be at McDonald’s

The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office will participate in National Coffee with a Cop Day on Wednesday.

Deputies will be available to chat with the public at three locations on Wednesday: Christos Diner on Route 104 in Murray from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.; Tim Hortons on Main Street in Albion from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.; and Millers Bakery on Route 104 in Medina from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

“The mission of Coffee with a Cop is to break down barriers between police officers and the citizens they serve by removing agendas and allowing opportunities to ask questions, voice concerns, and get to know the officers in your neighborhood,” the Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

Medina police officers will be at the McDonald’s in Medina from 8 to 10 a.m. and 3:30 to 5 p.m. if anyone wants to stop by and join them for a coffee.
